Description

Just 15 minutes north of Rockhampton, the Parkhurst Motel & Caravan Park is a classic Aussie country caravan park offering 12 motel units as well as powered and unpowered sites. Facilities include, toilets, showers, camp kitchen, laundry and swimming pool. There is general store offering take-awayand fuel. Pets are welcome. There is no direct access from the north bound lane to the park when coming from Rockhampton. Turn right into Boundary Road ( the lights at the Parkhurst Tavern ), turn left into Norman Road, turn left into Mason Avenue (on the map this road appears to be a cul de sac but that changed when the highway was upgraded) then turn left onto Yamba Road (Bruce Highway), head back towards Rockhampton to find the access. To exit the park and head north, turn left out of park and turn left into Boundary Road ( the lights at the Parkhurst Tavern ), turn left into Norman Road. Go all the way to the end of this road at the T intersection turn left into Olive Street. There are traffic lights at the highway intersection which makes it easier to head north on the highway.
