Nomads Rest is a 6 acre property where you can camp with a creek on one side and a large dam on the other side, so no matter where you set up in the beautifully maintained grounds, you have water either side of you. Situated east of Gympie, just off the road to Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach and 4kms to Gympie CBD. An ideal spot if you need a safe secure stop off when heading north or over to Rainbow Beach or Fraser Island. An ideal place if you're attending the Gympie Muster in August, a quiet place to relax after a busy time at the muster. Hotel, fuel and a convenience store just up the road. Pets are welcome but must strictly be on a leash at all times. No exceptions. You need to be self-contained (porta-loo & water) here as there are no facilities as yet. Campfires are welcome in the firepits provided, with plenty of firewood available $15 for 15kg. Plenty of kindling laying around. Gas bottle refill available, 9kg refill $26
