PLEASE FOLLOW GOOGLE DIRECTIONS TO MT UNCLE DISTILLERY CLOSED JANUARY, FEBRUARY and March Mt Uncle RV Retreat is a rare family run camp ground, situated between lush green banana plantations. It is a wonderful place to relax and experience the idyllic Far North Queensland farm environment. Beautifully maintained gardens are a great place to walk. This site is pet friendly with a designated pet exercise area. Choose your own place to park on a flat grass lawn, under mature trees - 12 powered sites & the same again unpowered in a campground with a Boutique fee, where a lot of planning has gone into making a stay here So Relaxing! Landscaped gardens, feel the quiet peace - with Geese, Guinea Fowl and Peacocks roaming the grounds! Other pets nearby, in their own enclosures are Goats, Donkeys and Alpacas, Ducks on the Pond. As animals are important to the owner of this Beautiful property there is a large all grass 'Off Leash Dog Yard'! Of course, dogs should be kept leashed when away from this patch of Freedom. For campers there are: Toilets, Large Hot showers, Utility with kettle & microwave, Laundry (clothesline out the back), small undercover seating areas - plus a Dumpster bin for any rubbish. (Everything here is new and work is ongoing; the BBQ and Fire Pit are yet to be installed). To keep campers safe from other visitors to the property, there is a farm gate separating the RV Resort from the general public area. The camping ground is located just 100 mts from one of the most awarded distilleries in Tropical Far North Queensland and Australia; just 75 kms (approx) from Cairns Cost : Powered sites: $34 pn Unpowered $24 pn Discount to CMCA & Solo Network members only $10 per child CASH ONLY
