This is a small peaceful camping node on the western side of the four wheel drive loop, a place to enjoy the early morning songs of the local birdlife, in Bulburin National Park. Camping fees apply and bookings are required.
It is located on the north-western side of the four-wheel drive loop accessed from Bulburin Forest Road15km from Builyan and 36km from the Bruce Highway via the Granite Creek access.
The road is unsealed and can be reached via Builyan in a four-wheel-drive vehicle in dry weather only. Access from the Bruce Highway on the Granite Creek Forestry Road is possible for four-wheel-drive vehicles only in dry weather. It is not accessible for vehicles towing on-road trailers, caravans or for motor homes.
There are no facilities, visitors must be self-sufficient and prepared for emergencies.
Open fires are prohibited. Fuel stoves are recommended to minimise impacts.
Generators and pets are not allowed.
Mobile phone coverage is poor; satellite phones, UHF radios and EPIRBs recommended.
