Bush camping is allowed in Thrushton National Park. Visitors must be self-sufficient. Take a first-aid-kit, vehicle spare parts and extra supplies of drinking water, food and fuel. Take your rubbish from the park when you leave. Bring at least 7 litres of water per person per day for cooking, drinking and washing.
Camping permits are required and fees apply. A camping tag must be displayed at your camp site.
Thrushton Woolshed bush camping area is a bush camping beside the old Thrushton Woolshed. It is located is a further 2km past Thrushton Homestead and 5km from the park entrance.
The camping area can be reached by 4WD (only). It is accessible for high clearance off-road camper trailers in dry weather only.
Camping is in an open area without separately defined sites. It is suitable for tent camping beside your car; walk-in camping; high clearance off-road camper trailers. There are no facilities, campers will need to be self-sufficient.
Open fires are prohibited. Fuel stoves are recommended.
Generators and pets are prohibited.
Mobile phone reception is not available.
