BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL, RING BEFORE ARRIVING PLEASE The Overshot ($35 per night) A select few beautiful sites tucked in along the edge of the magnificent rainforest creek that borders our 40 acre property which is situated between Mossman 8.2km and Port Douglas 19km, Julatten is 12km. The Overshot is a tranquil haven for a relaxed stay and there's a lot of beautiful tourist spots close by. This is the gateway to Cape Tribulation and Cooktown. The Overshot is a bird lovers paradise. We have a camp kitchen available with a microwave, fridge, hot and cold water to the sink and a few incidental kitchen bits and pieces. Plenty of space for campfires but you must supply your own firewood. There is also a communal campfire available. There is an honesty box for payment..so please be honest! Cash only is accepted. Our property isn't suited to dogs or children I'm sorry. We have dingoes in the area, abundant bird life including cassowaries and resident curlews. THERE ARE NO BATHROOM/TOILET/LAUNDRY FACILITIES You must be fully self contained although we welcome grey water on our lawns. There is drinking water available. Car and caravan wash by arrangement.
