Taroom Lions Park and adjoining land allows free camping for up to 48hrs. Facilities include toilets, Hot showers ($2 coin) drinking water, picnic tables, barbecues and children's playground. Please note that trucks do park here and can run at all hours of the night. Local shops, including two small supermarkets, within walking distance. Cabins ($) adjacent to the free site if you need a change. Tent campers please note that automatic pop-up sprinklers can operate in the fenced area at times. If there are any problems with the hot showers call the number on the coin box.
