We are between Rockhampton and Emu Park - approx. Only 1/2 hr to the city or the beach and national parks. Our campsites are located in a rural setting around a small dam with plenty of shady trees and friendly cows. Pets are welcomed as long as they are controlled and stay on your site. No chasing livestock or wildlife. It is 10km to the upgraded Fitzroy boat ramp and pontoon on the Fitzroy River. Enjoy some excellent fishing on the river, bird watch and bush walk up the many hills. Bore water is available for cleaning fish, washing and cleaning. BYO chainsaw or axe and cut up the free logs provided near the dam, or purchase pre-cut campfire wood for $15 per trolley load. Camp fee is $25 per night for 2 adults and up to 4 kids.
