Sandy Bay on Long Island is a small secluded beach lined with mangroves and backed by rainforest. Walking track depart the campsite allowing you to explore Long Island.
It is located approximately 6km east-north-east of Shute Harbour and can be reached by shallow draft boat only at mid to high tides.
The camping area is and unpowered open area without separately defined sites. Maximum of 6 people. Suitable for walk-in tent camping. Toilet facilities are available.
Open fires and ash-producing stoves are not permitted on national park islands or intertidal lands adjacent to national park islands. Use gas or fuel stoves for cooking.
Pets and generators are not permitted.
