DONATIONS $5/vehicle/night contribute to the maintenance of the war memorial and are greatly appreciated. Donations can be made at the War Memorial site near the toilet block in the Red Metal Tube or in the Diggers Hat opposite the toilet block or at the Atherton Tablelands Visitor Information Centre on the corner of Silo and Herberton Roads in Atherton. Camping Conditions; Camping is permitted for fully self-contained vehicles only (caravans, motor homes, buses, etc). Camping in tents, cars is not permitted. We have the right to move on any unsuitable vehicles. The camp host will provide a registration form to complete. Registration is valid for 72 hours from the date of signature. There is no illegal dumping of black or greywater. Dump points are available in Atherton or Mareeba. Use rubbish bins provided. NO GENERATORS ALLOWED. NO OPEN FIRES OR THE USE OF PORTABLE FIRE PITS ALLOWED. Ensure dogs are always on a leash, never left unattended, and their waste is collected removed. Toilets are provided for campers & visitors to the war memorial and are open approximately from 8am - 6pm daily.
