Old Forestry Camp, Bulburin National Park

Old Forestry camping area features an open grassy camping area with tall hoop pines dominating the forest. The camping area is located at the top of the range along Bulburin Forest Road-16km from Builyan and 33km from the Bruce Highway via the Granite Creek access.
The road is unsealed and can be reached via Builyan in a two-wheel-drive vehicle in dry weather only. Access from the Bruce Highway on the Granite Creek Forestry Road is possible for four-wheel-drive vehicles only in dry weather. It is not accessible for vehicles towing on-road trailers, caravans or for motor homes.
Sites are unpowered and suitable for tent camping beside your vehicle and off-road camper trailers.
There are no facilities visitors must be self-sufficient and prepared for emergencies. Mobile phone coverage is poor; satellite phones, UHF radios and EPIRBs recommended.
Open fires are allowed (except when fire bans apply). Bring your own clean, milled timber for firewood. Keep a cleared area free of grass and vegetation of at least 2m around your campfire and do not place inflammable materials and rubbish in the campfire. Fuel stoves are recommended to minimise impacts.
Generators and pets are not permitted.
