Description

Anyone considering staying at Burketown, QLD. Highly recommend the campsites along the river. You have to call into the Burketown Tourist Info Centre to book. They have closed their online booking site due to 1/2 sites unavailable or no longer exist due to 2023 floods. Plus they give you directions as it's a tad convoluted to get to site/s. It cost $35 1st night ($25 subsequent nights).
