Some background info:
Once all cane farm, now cattle farm. This is a very casual, relaxed camp grounds which is located on a private cattle farm located approx 500m from beach.
This is a no fuss camp grounds with 3-4 sites and you will be left to your own privacy and your own devices.
5km north from Mossman township and a 20 minute drive from Port Douglas and Daintree/Cape Tribulation.
This campsite suits self-contained campers only who bring their own camping toilet/shower as these are not supplied. There is access to drinking water supply and fire pits are also supplied.
This property is situated on a green grassy paddock surrounded by cane and friendly cattle next to a Small Dam full of Barramundi so you can try your luck with an afternoon fish.
The Dam is also visited often by rare native birds. Newell Beach is just a 5 minute walk and has a jetty/boat ramp at each river mouth.
The local golf club is a one minute drive for those wanting a putt and if your too tired to cook at the end of the day the local Newell takeaway shop is just down the road.

FYI - the grounds are currently going through some upgrades and earthworks, so there is some soil piles and construction tools off the side of the campground areas.
