Description

Camping permits are required and fees apply. A tag with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site. You must book your campsite before you visit. Mission Point Camping Area is accessible by boat only and has relatively protected boat anchorage near the camp sites. It is located on the western side of Bribie Island overlooking the Pumicestone Passage, with views to the Glass House Mountains. There are 12 numbered sites suitable for tent camping only. Facilities include: micro flush toilets, screened cold showers, water tap (not suitable for drinking), picnic tables and fireplaces. Open fires: allowed (except when fire bans or prohibitions apply) in fire rings only, but fuel stoves recommended. Generators and pets not permitted. Mobile phone coverage is generally available.
