Camping permits are required and fees apply. Book prior to arrival. A camping tag-printable after booking online-with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site. Middle Rock camping area is accessible only by high clearance four-wheel-drive. Access is suitable for high clearance camper trailers. The camping area is not accessible for caravans and buses. It features bush camping behind the fore dunes, just a short walk to water and beach activities. There is a small open area without separately defined sites. Camp only in the area defined on the camping area sign map. Middle Rock camping area is a back to nature experience-facilities are not provided. Fuel stoves are recommended. Campfires are permitted in fire rings provided, except when fire prohibitions or fire bans are in place, but please bring your own firewood. Collection of firewood and the use of chainsaws are prohibited. Generators are permitted between 8am and 9pm; must have a sound rating of less than 65 decibels (2.0Kva). Must be selfcontained Mobile phone coverage is generally not available. No pets.
