On-site self-registration is no longer available. Campers must obtain an e-camping permit and pay their camping fees before arriving at the camping area. Book your camp site:
- online
- at an over-the-counter booking office or self-service kiosk
- by telephoning 13 QGOV (13 74 68). Mobile phone charges may apply.
Camp in one of Koombooloomba's two camping areas or bush camps in various locations (subject to park-specific conditions). To avoid confusion, please ensure you book the correct camping area. Permits can not be transferred between camping areas.
Koombooloomba Conservation Park camping area features a flat camping area with separate sites adjacent to the old Koombooloomba township's cricket oval. Sites 1-5 are well shaded. Sites 6-9 are partially shaded.
The camping area is located 14km from the entrance to the national park and adjacent to Koombooloomba Dam. Follow the camping area sign. The camping area can be reached by conventional vehicle, motorcycle, bicycle, and on foot. It is not accessible for caravans, buses, and motor homes.
A wheelchair-accessible toilet is available.
Small campfires with a 2m buffer are permitted. Firewood must not be collected from the National Park or Conservation Park. Ensure fires are put out.
NO GENERATORS ALLOWED.
Mobile phone coverage is poor.
Pets are not permitted
