Gayndah Heritage Railway is a non-profit organisation promoting the Gayndah District Railway and the railways of Queensland.
This paid reststop offers drinking water, is dog friendly, accessible to RVs, caravans, and big rigs.
Camping in tents is strictly not permitted. You must be self-contained, meaning you must have your own shower and toilet. Generators are not allowed after 8 pm. Can fill your caravan with water before departing. However, we require a fee of $5. Please leave money in the mailbox before departing.
The maximum stay is 72 hours from the time of arrival. As from the 1st April, 2021 our volunteers will collect your site fee of $5 per person per night, $15 per night for a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 up to 15, extra child per night $2.50 and a free guided tour of the M Class Sunlander carriages is available daily at 8.30 am. This is a must-see, very informative tour conducted by the friendly volunteers.
