Relax on the banks of Torrens Creek, where the coolibahs and river red gums shade Four Mile Waterhole camping area.
Camping permits are required and fees apply. Book online in advance.
Open bush camping sites near the banks of Torrens Creek, 8.5km from the park entrance. The camping area can only be reached in dry weather, and only by 4WD vehicle. Camper trailers are permitted but access is unsuitable for caravans.
Camping is in an open area without defined sites. There are no facilities. Campers will need to be self-sufficient. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
Open fires are permitted. Fuel stoves are recommended.
Pets and generators are not permitted.
Mobile phone coverage is unavailable; satellite phones and UHF radios (local channel 29) recommended.
Be alert and prepared for changes in weather. Even small amounts of rain on the park or in surrounding areas can cause floods at any time of year. If heavy rain or minor flooding occurs, move to higher ground.
