Description

This Paid Campground/farm is privately owned with walking tracks, wildlife,large rock dam, motorbike track on request and feeding/ patting of farm animals apron request. We are situated 12k out from Tara town which has all the facilities you need including dump spot. Don’t forget we also have the camel festival so be sure to book your stay with us early. There is so much to see in all the surrounding towns so do a little search in advance. At Far Far Away Downs there are 3 camping area to choose from depending on your needs and camping vehicle. Area 1 is a large area at the dam with plenty of space for large vehicles and caravans. This area is for self contained vehicles only. Area 2 is set in open bush close to the amenity block. This area is for those who are not self contained. Area 3 is a bush setting, set back into acreage that can fit caravans, camp trailers, roof toppers, and tents. it is a bit of a walk to amenity block. Note: The amenity block has 1 shower, 1 toilet, 1 washing machine and 1 sink. Those camping in area 2 will have prority access. Group bookings and motorbike access can be arranged apron request. Dogs are allowed but on leash at all times (we have dogs on farm). Generators allowed between 8am an 6 pm only. Please take all your rubbish with you. Area 1 is $25 per night for 2 people Area 2 is $30 per night for 2 people with full use of amenities Area 3 tents is $20 per night or self contained vehicles $25 per night for 2 people Please inquire at farfarawaydowns@yahoo.com for all bookings and any additional information.
