Emu Creek Camping Area

Located in the Benarkin State Forest, Emu Creek camping area features large, open grassy area with vehicle access to sites. Ideal for family camping. Dogs are not allowed in camping area, but are allowed on a leash in the adjacent day-use area.
The campground is accessible by conventional vehicles (with care) via gravel road with some steep, narrow and winding sections. The road can be very slippery in wet conditions, please be careful and drive accordingly. Watch for logging trucks. It is accessible for trailers, caravans, motorhomes and buses with care.
Camping permits are required and fees apply. Permits must be obtained before setting up camp. A camping tag with your booking number must be displayed at your campsite.
Facilities include flushing toilets, cold showers and tap water (treat before drinking).
Fuel stoves are recommended. Wood fires are allowed in the constructed fireplaces provided (except when fire bans apply).
Generators are not allowed. There is no mobile phone coverage.
