INFORMATION FROM NATIONAL PARKS SIGNAGE
You can camp on the stock route beside the highway.
Camping is not permitted in the park itself.
There are no facilities and you are asked to: use fuel stoves (firewood is scarce and provides precious cover for wildlife and the soil)
Bring your own drinking water
remove all rubbish - do not burn or bury
Keep water pure - do not wash in the lake, and bury human wastes at least 100m from water
Avoid trampling or breaking vegetation
Instead of camping, why not support local business by staying overnight in town? You can get food, fuel and accommodation at Thargomindah, 40km west.
