Camping area features: open-plan camp sites set amongst natural bushland adjacent to Broken River, where you can spot a platypus. The camping area can be reached by conventional vehicles and is suitable for camper trailers, caravans, buses, and motorhomes. Road to Eungella is 4km Very Steep grade signed as NOT SUITABLE for vehicles over 12m. Take great care when ascending and descending! Camping area features: camp alongside Broken River or in larger designated group camp sites. Number of sites: 8 total. Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car; walk-in camping; camper trailers; (small) motorhomes; large groups. Camp site surface: grass and dirt. Facilities: toilets are provided in the camping area. Open fires: allowed in fire rings only (except when fire bans apply). Fuel stoves are recommended. Bring your own clean, milled timber. No collecting of firewood. No dogs/cats. NO GENERATORS ALLOWED... Essentials to bring: all food and drinking water, sturdy rubbish bags, insect repellent, sun protection, first-aid kit, and reliable torch.
