Camping permits are required and fees apply. A tag with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site. Book prior to arrival.
Archer camping areas is located in the Mount Mee section of the D'Aguilar National Park and is not suitable for trailers or caravans-campsites are small and there are designated car spaces.
Archer camping area features an open, grassy, family-friendly, natural bush setting near Neurum Creek. The camping area can be reached by conventional vehicle from the north via Woodford. From the south, via The Gantry, it is only accessible by four-wheel-drive vehicles.
There are 9 unpowered, numbered camp sites spread over an open grassy area. Maximum of 6 people per site. Facilities include water (treat before drinking), septic toilets and fireplaces.
Open fires are permitted in the fireplace provided except when fire bans or prohibitions apply. Bring your own firewood-untreated, milled timber off-cuts are recommended. Do not bring in or collect bush wood. Fuel stoves are recommended.
Generators and pets are not permitted.
