Description

The unique Achacha Fruit Plantation is located right on the Bruce Highway 45km south of Townsville at 34338 Bruce Highway. It is the world's first and largest grower (15,000 trees) of the Achacha tropical fruit. Self contained, private van sites are located at different locations within the picturesque 100ha site. Certified organic, with biodynamic methods used. Farm tours, seasonal products (stock up on our eggs and honey) and firewood available. $30/van first night, then $15/van for extra nights. Emphasis on regenerative agriculture. Please call in advance to book. Vans can be safely left here at $15/night should you wish to take your vehicle to Magnetic Island on the barge. All vans must be self-contained but we do have one powered site with bathroom facilities.
