This is a free campground. Bird sanctuary and wildlife.
You must be self contained, no collecting of firewood or chopping down of trees.
Biodegradable soaps only.
It is accessible to RVs, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs.
Camping in tents is allowed. You can stay here for up to 24 hours.
This is a rest area, there is no signage to say dogs are not allowed also no signage about a bird sanctuary
Bore 6A Staging Camp (Night Camp No. 2) was located on the Barkley Highway 203 miles west of Camooweal. The location is now called 'Frewina'. The land was hired from the Northern Territory Pastoral Company Limited.
