Description
Wreck of a B-24-J Liberator Bomber Milady used in the air war conducted against the Japanese during World War II from Australian soil. The aircraft crashed on January 17, 1945. Of the 6 crew members, there were no survivors.
The significance of this site has been acknowledged by ex-servicemen and the community of the Northern Territory with the installation of a plaque and interpretive signage at the site. Please respect this heritage place by leaving the site as you find it.
NOTE: this site can be inaccessible during the Wet Season.
No camping or overnight parking.
