Description

The now abandoned airfield is located 10 kilometres north of Larrimah and was established at the terminus of the old North Australian Railway. A large petrol storage and bomb dump were constructed as part of the airfield. No buildings and signage remain. Plenty of room on the and off the old airfield to park. Go through gate/grid and follow track approx 1km. Turn right where you see the hubcap nailed to tree. Unofficial camp - leave no trace. And respect other campers.
