Description

All roads within the Park are unsealed and can be closed due to seasonal flooding from November to May. Roads leading to the Park may also be affected by flooding at this time. Check Park road conditions by phoning 1800 246 199, or checking the road conditions website: www.roadreport.nt.gov.auThe Southern Lost City is 35 km south of the Nathan River RangerStation. At the end of the 4 km track you can enjoy a 2.5 km walkamong the rock formations. From March 2022 you MUST pre-book online. Camping fees apply and are payable PRIOR to arrival. No phone service to book on arrival. Sites are suitable for tents, camper trailers and off-road caravans. Facilities include toilets, barbeques and picnic tables.Chainsaws are not permitted in the parkOnly use generators between 7.30am to 8.30pm.Ensure you have enough fuel, food and water for your journey through the Park. There are no services for 338 km between Roper Bar and Cape Crawford, although limited fuel and supplies are available at Limmen Bight Fishing Camp.
