Along with its neighbour, Mardugal Two, this seasonal campsite has all the facilities you need in a comfortable base to explore Kakadu. Pick a site for yourself & the camp manager will call after 5 pm to collect site fees.
The managed campground is about 6 km from Cooinda and is a great staging ground for day trips to the Jim Jim and Mary River regions or to launch your boat and go fishing.
Here you can enjoy encounters with Kakadus wildlife agile wallabies are abundant during the day and there are large colonies of bats nearby in the evening.
The Gungardun Walk and Mardugal Billabong Walk offer opportunities to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Fishers can use the boat ramp to access Mardugal Billabong, where barramundi and saratoga are often biting.
Be Crocwise: Fishing and boating
This is a paid campground. It is accessible by 2WD and is suitable for tents, motorhomes, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs.
All sites are unpowered. Facilities include flushing toilets, hot showers, cooking pits and boat ramp. Generators are permitted in the generator use sections.
Pets are not permitted.
