Bush camping at its best, Maguk offers quiet surrounds a 45 min walk (30 mins from the day parking) to one of Kakadu's most popular plunge pools. This is the perfect place to stay before heading off for a day of waterplay in Maguk's stunning plunge pools. Reach the pools via a 1 km walk through lush monsoon rainforest and across a rocky creek bed. 4WD is required to access this site. It is accessible to camper trailers. Camping in tents is allowed. Camping fees apply. Facilities include pit toilets, picnic tables and fire pits. Be Crocwise. Pets are not permitted.
