Description

The bridge that crosses the Darling River at Wilcannia is an unusual centrelift construction (if the paddle steamers were too high it could be raised to allow them safe passage) which is now classified by the National Trust. This free point of interest offers nice scenery and wildlife viewing. It is dog friendly. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
