Description

Semi-derelict hut for forestry workers doing operations within the State Forest. The hut sits near the main entrance to the Styx River State Forest. The hut has no doors, is roofed and with a fireplace. Likely used by the occasional traveller to stay. Vandalism, lack of lockable doors and proximity to the road does not make this an ideal place to camp. It is close to the road and therefore an ideal location for groups to meetup and stretch their legs before going further into the forest. Perhaps only stay a a last resort.
