Description

All vehicles entering the Worimi Conservation Lands must be registered and display a valid Worimi Conservation Lands beach vehicle permit. The Worimi Conservation Lands (WCL) is considered a road related area and road rules apply under Road Transport (General) Act 2005. The Worimi Conservation Lands are located in the Port Stephens area of Anna Bay, north of Newcastle. Vehicle access is available for 4WDs. There are two entrances to the WCL: - via Lavis Lane at Williamtown - via Gan Gan Road at Anna Bay This is the Anna Bay Access point. Conditionally registered recreational vehicles such as quads/motorbikes, are not permitted to use this access. This is the only access where dogs are permitted to enter the park in vehicles. Four wheel driving is a very popular activity, and the entrances can get busy during the holidays. Permits are available from: Visitor Information Centre, 61 Victoria Parade NELSON BAY NSW 2315. No camping or overnight parking.
