Panoramic views from Junction Mine towards North Mine in Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia. Junction Mine lease was pegged in 1884 and 2 years later the Broken Hill Junction Silver Mining Co. was formed. This lookout is a popular tourist spot with interpretive signs about the history of the mines. The North Mine lease was pegged out in 1883 and rich carbonate ore was found in 1888. This free point of interest offers nice scenery. It is dog friendly. No camping or overnight parking allowed. Follow road past cottage
