Description

Woolool Wooloolni is a natural feature of spiritual importance to local Aboriginal people. Woolool Wooloolni, also known as Wellington Rock, is an impressive outcrop of stone, which includes one spectacular mushroom-shaped rock balancing out above the other boulders. It is important to local Aboriginal people because of its spiritual importance to particular families in the area. Woolool Wooloolni is 1040 metres tall, and is bounded on all sides by the Cataract River. The land to the north is forest, and the land to the south-west has been cleared for grazing. 4WD is required to access this site. No camping or overnight parking.
