It is dog friendly. The picnic area is the summer nesting site for a flock of rainbow bee eater birds. The population of this species has declined by over 50% since 2001 in NSW. They nest in burrows in the ground. Please take care to protect these beautiful birds. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
