Description

You are now required to make a booking for all campgrounds and campsites in NSW national parks. This includes locations that were previously available for use without a booking. This is necessary to protect our visitors and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Book online or contact the National Parks Contact Centre on 1300 072 757. Enjoy vehicle-based camping in your 4WD beside Namoi River at Warrabah campground and picnic area, where you can bushwalk, fish, swim, and go canoeing. The campsite is well laid-out, with a picnic area right beside the river. Sites are unpowered. Facilities include picnic tables, barbecue facilities, carpark and toilets. Remember to take your binoculars if you want to bird watch. his is a great place to base yourself to enjoy all that the park has to offer - bushwalking, birdwatching, swimming, canoeing, and more. The safest, legal way to get to this campground is via Manilla. Don't use Google Maps to direct you to this campground and picnic area. It will take you on unsafe, unmarked roads through private property. You can use Google Maps to get you to Manilla only. From Manilla, please follow these directions: Travel north out of town across the Namoi River towards Barraba Around 500m north of the bridge, turn right onto Barraba Street Continue onto Namoi River Road and follow the signs to Warrabah National Park Turn right onto Warrabah Trail Gathering firewood, pets and smoking are not permitted.
