Council advise that Wallendbeen/Mackay Park rest area is managed by Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council for RMS.NSW. Any enquiries may be direct to Council on 1300 459 689. Facilities include: Toilets, potable water, picnic tables and rubbish bins, Public Telephone. Dogs allowed, please pick up after your pets. *Rest areas are a place where you can stop and rest, making your journey safer and more enjoyable. You can stop at a rest area to rest and manage fatigue, however they are not intended as camping sites and stays longer than 24 hours are not permitted. This is a combined truck and car rest area. Please do not park in the truck parking area and ensure there is plenty of room for trucks to enter and exit the site and to park and take their mandatory rest.
