Description

This rest area is located on the Oxley Highway, next to the Tia River, 127.5km West of Wauchope and is accessible to vehicles travelling in both directions. Rest areas are a place where you can stop and rest, making your journey safer and more enjoyable. You can stop at a rest area to rest and manage fatigue however they are not intended as camping sites and stays longer than 24 hours are not permitted. Facilities include: picnic tables, shelters and rubbish bins.
