'Shanty On Namoi Camping' is a unique spacious camping area on my property on the banks of the Namoi Creek, situated at Narrabri NSW 5 klms from the edge of town. The Top paddock, has grassy, mowed campsites, fire pits, scattered trees throughout for shade with some spots overlooking the creek. The 'Shanty' has been set up as an open kitchen wth a large open fire , 2 large tables, bench seats and a sink with good quality bore water. Behind the 'Shanty' is a bit more private campsite with a fire - pit and trees. Information located at the 'Shanty' include: pamphlets and maps of Narrabri and the surrounding area's, a great base to leave your caravan to go on day trips to local attractions. The Bottom paddock has grassy, mowed, campsites , fire pits, water frontage a place to put watercraft in or swim and go fishing. ( Open fires permitted at designated sites only). Or your personal firepit. Directions: Heading South in town, Repco on your left, turn Right, OR Heading North turn Left, at Repco onto Gibbons st, head straight down past Golf Club, turn left onto The Island rd ( A No Through rd) about 1 half klms go over ONE cattle grid, about 200 mtrs turn right through 2 large open/closed green gates (at a set of cattle yards) go through to the next gate you are at the camping site. Single safe, Secured Site. (Scroll up) SELF-CONTAINED CAMPERS ONLY We DO NOT have TOILETS or SHOWERS NO DIGGING HOLES / CLEAN and TIDY ( PLEASE TAKE OUT WHAT YOU BRING IN) All weather rd. Easily accessible for All types of vehicles. Drive through sites. WIFI Telstra / Optus mobile networks, TV reception. 5 mins to dump point, 8 mins to supermarkets, heated pool, 3 mins to Golf Club.
