Description

Mulwala campground in Murray Valley Regional Park, part of Murray Valley National Park, is perfectly positioned next to the mighty Murray River near Yarrawonga. The campground, also known as Hinches Beach campground, offers sites for caravans, motorhomes. Bookings are required. Book online or call the National Parks Contact Centre on 1300 072 757. There are no camping fees at this campground but a $6 booking fee applies. Also known as Hinches Beach, Mulwala campground is a popular place for family campers, with many groups returning to camp each year. And, because of its location within Murray Valley Regional Park, you can even bring your dog along. There's lots of space to play games and run around, and there's plenty more to explore on your holidays. There are no facilities at this site. Campers need to be self-sufficient. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace. You can explore the park on foot or on your bike or paddle the river in a kayak or canoe. Be sure to bring your fishing rod along it's a great spot to cast a line and in the warmer weather, the river is a good place to cool off. The towns of Yarrawonga and Mulwala aren't far away if you need to pick up some supplies or want to take in the sights.
