Description

This paid campground offers a number of new amenity blocks that include roomy toilets and hot showers as well as a coin operated laundry. Dump point provided FOC for paying camping guests. All others $5 to be paid at information centre before using. There are eight powered sites ($30) with plenty of unpowered sites ($20) many with fire pits. Camp kitchen and happy hour enclosure. Sites have recently been terraced and graded to allow large pull through sites. It is accessible to motorbikes, RVs, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs. Camping in tents is allowed. A new addition are the three dormitories ($80 per night) that sleep 4 per unit and feature a microwave, jug and toaster with close proximity to amenities and camp kitchen. After hours arrivals please call at the caretakers cottage or the stone cottage near the gaol cells. Wander through the attached historic precinct at your leisure with its restored colonial buildings and interpretive digital presentations. $10 per person, $8 concession, accompanied school aged children free admission.
