Description

You are now required to make a booking for all campgrounds and campsites in NSW national parks. This includes locations that were previously available for use without a booking. This is necessary to protect our visitors and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Book online or contact the National Parks Contact Centre on 1300 072 757. This location is a free campground, however a booking fee of $6 per site applies. Money collected will be used to manage campground numbers and improve your safety. Jounama Creek campground, in Kosciuszko National Park, is ideal for caravans and offers families a nature escape with boating, fishing and swimming in the warmer months. Sites are unpowered and there are no marked site. Sites are suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans and camping beside your vehicle. Facilities include picnic tables, wood barbecues and non-flush toilets. Creek water is available at this campground youll need to treat or boil it before drinking. There may be a supply of firewood in this campground. PLEASE NOTE: Collection of fire wood in National Parks is prohibited other than what maybe provided. There is limited mobile reception in this park. There are no fees. Bookings are not required at this campground. Campsites are available on a first-in first-served basis. The campsite is accessible to 2WD vehicles. It's recommended that all vehicles carry snow chains from the June to October long weekends. Pets and domestic animals (other than certified assistance animals) are not permitted. NSW national parks are no smoking areas.
