Description
Set on the picturesque Edward River in Murray Valley Regional Park, adjacent to Murray Valley National Park, Edward River Bridge campground is bush camping at its best. Dogs are welcome to Edward River Bridge campground which offers free camping sites within Murray Valley Regional Park, not far from Mathoura. Bookings are required. Book online or call the National Parks Contact Centre on 1300 072 757. This location is a free campground, however a booking fee of $6 per site applies. Money collected will be used to manage campground numbers and improve your safety.
Sites are unpowered and unmarked and area suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans, and camping beside your vehicle. Toilet facilities are available.
There's plenty to keep everyone happy go for an energising walk on Gulpa Creek walk, barbecue at the neighbouring Edward River Bridge picnic area, or relax with a book under the shade of a river red gum. If you've brought your fishing gear along, there are plenty of great spots to cast your line along the river and some good places for swimming, not to mention opportunities to paddle Edward River canoe and kayak trail and bike ride.
Remember to bring your binoculars, as this part of the park is great for birdwatching.
