Description

You are now required to make a booking for all campgrounds and campsites in NSW national parks. This includes locations that were previously available for use without a booking. This is necessary to protect our visitors and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Book online or contact the National Parks Contact Centre on 1300 072 757. Delicate campground, in Goolawah Regional Park near Crescent Head, offers beach camping and caravan camping and welcomes those camping with dogs. Dogs must be on leads and under your control at all times It's the ideal Kempsey region camping spot. There are 50 unpowered sites suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans and camping beside your vehicle. Drinking water is not available, you'll need to bring your own supply. Unpotable bore water is available. Firewood can be purchased from the campground manager. FIres only permitted above ground in suitable containers that can be hired from the managers. Bookings are not available at this campground. (Covid booking is required) This campground is suitable for groups and is the preferred location for caravan camping in this park. This is a remote campground, so please make sure you arrive well-prepared for your visit. Noise restrictions apply after 10pm at this campground. Generators are NOT allowed. Check the weather before you set out as the road to this campground can become potholed and boggy when it rains. Dogs may be brought into Goolawah Regional Park, including Delicate campground, as long as park restrictions surrounding dogs are observed. Dogs are not permitted in the adjacent Goolawah National Park. Please do not bring un-desexed dogs in season - they may attract dingoes. Gathering firewood, generators and smoking are not permitted.
