Description

You are now required to make a booking for all campgrounds and campsites in NSW national parks. This includes locations that were previously available for use without a booking. This is necessary to protect our visitors and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Book online or contact the National Parks Contact Centre on 1300 072 757. This location is a free campground, however a booking fee of $6 per site applies. Money collected will be used to manage campground numbers and improve your safety. Located in north central NSW in the Culgoa National Park, Culgoa River campground is an ideal resting place for well-equipped, independent travellers, with picnic tables and several short walks close by. The campground is 14km from the southern entrance of the park accessible by 2WD vehicle. There are 5 sites suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans and camping beside your vehicle. Sites are unmarked and unpowered. This campground is the preferred location for caravan camping in this national park. Water is not available at this campground, so you'll need to bring your own supply for drinking and cooking. Firewood is not provided and may not be collected from the park, so you'll need to bring your own supply. Rubbish bins are not available, so please take your rubbish with you when leaving. Camping is free and bookings are not available for this campground. Pets, generators and smoking are not permitted.
