Description

This free campground offers swimming. It is dog friendly. It is accessible to RVs, camper trailers and caravans. Camping in tents is allowed. Tight turn into area from bridge side, just go wide. Great swimming areas. Also historic tunnel through the ridge to west. Was used to divert the river so people could look for gold in river bed. Go to south-western corner and look over the river. Historic Sofala Royal Hotel an easy walk.
