Throughout Coolendel's 52 hectare bushland, you will find both secluded and open grassy areas, and you can camp wherever you like! You might be tempted to set up in the main camping area, near the warmth of an open fireplace and convenience of a picnic bench and hot shower. Alternatively, you might want to camp at one of the more remote sites such as Willow Flat, Sandy Beach, Canoe Flat, The Burrows, Riverview, and Hideaway. Facilities for our campers include: open fireplaces amenities with flush toilets, hot showers, baby change table, and facilities for the disabled laundries for hand washing large shelter shed gas BBQ area. Everything, including power and water, is generated onsite at Coolendel. We are proud of our sustainability and aim to provide an authentic bush camping experience with some modern comforts including hot showers and flushing toilets. If you forget something, visit our kiosk which sells basic food and camping supplies such as ice, bread, milk, firewood, and gas. Other than that, it's just you and the natural beauty of the outdoors. Expect to share your camp with wombats, wallabies, goannas, and a variety of birds! No pets. Peak season - Xmas school hols, Easter and October long weekends. Shoulder season - April and October school holidays. Off Season - all other times.
