*MUST BOOK* Brambles Green campground is a walk in campground offering secluded camping by the river in Myall Lakes National Park. Its a great place to stop on a kayaking trip or overnight hike. Its a small and secluded with a flat grassy area beside the river where you can pitch your tent or set up your bivvy. There are two campsites suitable for tent and backpack camping. Wood barbecue facilities are available. You'll need to bring your own wood. Camping and park entry fees apply. Bookings are not available for this campground, and will continue to operate on a first come, first served basis. The park has coin/card operated pay and display machines at Mungo Brush campground. NPWS visitor service officers regularly visit camping areas to collect fees from campers and sell annual passes. The park is accessible to 2WD vehicles. Leave your car at the Brambles Green trailhead and follow Brambles Green trail for approximately 2km to the campground. Pets and smoking are not permitted. Note: Brambles Green campground is used between October and May by commercial fishers harvesting prawns. Activities, including setting out nets across the river and cooking prawns in preparation for transport may take place throughout the night.
