If you enjoy relaxing, doing a spot of fishing, or if you are looking for a perfect traquil retreat for a picnic; then the Bogan River Weir Reserve is just the place.
Facilities include ample off-road parking for recreational vehicles and picnic shelters. There are no toilet facilities at this site. You will need to have your own.
Take the time to explore some of the bird life and enjoy nature with a leisurely stroll to the weir. Watch the sun set over the water.
Note that access to the reserve can be restricted during heavy rain periods.
Access the Bogan River Weir Reserve by travelling north out of Peak Hill towards Dubbo, turn left onto Tullamore Road. The Weir is approximately (7) seven kilometres from Peak Hill.
